Unofficial Fireworks Displays

Winnemac Park – 5101 N. Leavitt St.

One of the largest and most popular neighborhood fireworks events occurs at Winnemac Park. Arrive early to grab a spot, and keep in mind that the baseball fields are where the fireworks are lit, so you’ll want to give them a wide berth. Neighbors on each baseball field compete with self-purchased fireworks, and the friendly competition means more for spectators to enjoy. The displays start around sunset and end at 10 p.m.
